It's homemade yogurt alright. And I'm not sure it can be called a recipe, since it's so simple, but we used these instructions: https://www.jamieoliver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=334328

Also, to Dave- Chase made the last batch of deodorant and he used cocoa butter, orange oil and peppermint. So that's why we smell like Christmas cookies all the time now.

i thought it was breastmilk with a dab of honey. seems more like a dirty hippy thing to do.

Hey, did you use a yogurt maker or just that jar? I have been looking at this recipe for a while but they seem to think you need a fancy (and expensive maker).

p.s. it is a fine line between Martha Stewart and Dirty Hippie.

Hi Kimberly!

We don't have a yogurt maker, we just heated the milk to boiling on the stove, and then once it cooled off we added a couple tablespoons of active yogurt. After that we just left it alone for about 6 hours. I kept it in the pot we boiled it in, so it would stay warm as long as possible, and that seemed to help thicken it up.

I had to pour some water off the top when it was done, and I'm wondering if there's a way to get it thicker? But really it was pretty delicious and we'll be making a lot more.
